The Office Lunch for sydney cbd

Office catering has spent too long being treated as an afterthought: tired sandwich platters, anonymous packaging and food chosen simply because it arrives on time.

At Margot The Deli, we think an office lunch should feel considered. Something that looks beautiful when it lands on the boardroom table, travels well and, most importantly, is genuinely enjoyable to eat.

Our catering boxes are built around the rhythm of the Sydney CBD. Early meetings call for warm bacon and egg rolls, Margot Rolls layered with smoked salmon, smashed avocado and folded egg, freshly baked pastries and Single O coffee. Morning tea might arrive as a box of crisp sfogliatelle, code d’aragosta, seasonal fruit and our almond amaretti.

For lunch, the deli opens up properly. Artisan sandwiches, vibrant salads, pizza alla pala Romana and the golden favourites of the Italian rosticceria—panzerotti Pugliesi, supplì alla Romana and arancini Siciliani—are packed into generous boxes designed for sharing. For something more substantial, our Portuguese-style rotisserie chicken can sit at the centre of the table with seasonal sides, fresh bread and house-made condiments.

The idea is simple: office catering should never feel separate from the food people actually want to eat.

Each box is prepared with the same attention given to everything served across the counter at Margot The Deli. Ingredients are chosen carefully, presentation matters, and the menu can be shaped around the occasion—whether it is a quick team lunch, a client meeting, a breakfast presentation or a larger office celebration.

Located at 10 Barrack Street, close to Martin Place and Wynyard, Margot The Deli brings a more thoughtful kind of catering to the Sydney CBD: fresh, generous and unmistakably Margot.

Because the best office lunches do more than feed the room.

They change the mood of it.
